In my own ensembles I present original compositions and selected jazz standards, accompanied by some wonderful musician colleagues or alone at the piano. In my own compositions I try to express my own identity, experiences and emotions and by interpreting jazz standards or jazz compositions, I aim to explore the amazing quality of the jazz tradition by considering its diverse range of inherited styles. In this regard, the music of Clare Fischer has become one of my favorites.
